We have had wonderful things going on lately. I have been busy enjoying and in the midst of all the excitement, I forgot to share with all of you!
When we returned from Colorado my parents greeted us and quickly disappeared! To my surprise they spent a couple days at their most favorite place, the Sunset Inn, in Florida.

They visit the Sunset Inn a couple times a year for a relaxing getaway. The Sunset Inn hasn't been torn down by a multi-million dollar investment company like most of the older beach complexes. The property owners have been offered a couple million dollars, but oblige their loyal patrons and promise to keep the establishment running as long as their patrons promise to visit.
My mom and dad love The Sunset Inn because they can walk along the calm street that runs parallel with the beach. They leisurely chat with locals about property, foreclosures, and stories about old property sales of the past. They dream, play, and even swim a little. Yes, my dad always dunks his head in the ocean in February! I have pictures! (but they aren't loading right now)
After spending over a week out of town, my parents actually returned home with a little surprise. Guess what the prize was???

WRONG! haha.
They came home with the news that they put an offer in on a beach house. YAY! They have been looking for years. It is located in the same vicinity as the Sunset Inn. They are in the negotiating stages with an investor. We should know something soon! Little Man wants to go play in the ocean for his birthday!
Take a gander at the pictures. The house is a simple salt box structure. My mom had a little mishap with the camera and took all the pictures in black and white. The house is less than a football field from the beach. You can actually see the water from the home.

Picture taken from the front yard.... dad was looking toward the beach. The beach is directly in front of the house with the car under the carport.
Isn't it lovely? :-) Don't even think about dialing that number and making an offer. This jewel is TAKEN!
Dad ntering through the front door for the 1st time!
We will be walking to the beach through Beach Walk #19. We can throw a rock and hit it from our front door.

Here are a couple pictures from our last day in Colorado. We were delayed a couple days.
Little Man and his dad were so happy to be able to stay an extra day with Sue Sue in Colorado. Our plane was canceled because of a broken windshield. Sue Sue made Little Man CARBONARA for the first time. His daddy was thrilled! It's his favorite!
Little Man just woke up from a long winter nap at Sue Sue's house. :-)
Little Man and his daddy love to play peek-a-boo now
This is what happens when his daddy doesn't pop up fast enough. He starts yelling for him!
